FF 42 is optimised for 8 people with the three cabin version. There is large, comfortable sleeping cabin with generous extra space in the front of the boat. In the front is also the large head with washing/drying possibilities and a toilet. In the double cabin version the head is moved aft and has a seperate shower. It is also possible to have double toilets. The large saloon has space for 8 people around the dining table. A comfortably L-shaped pantry has an integrated 95-litres refrigerator with freezer and stowe with oven as standard equipment. A separate sea chart table, to be used seated forward. The double cabin layout has a large storage, accessable from the cockpit and through a hatch in the head. The large cockpit with twin steering wheels has an open transom. As option either fixed or removable storage boxes with integrated seats can be delivered that closes the transom.
A through deck keel stepped double spreader aluminium anodised 19/20 fractional tapered mast comes with adjustable mastfoot. The hull and deck are built using Vinylester resin and divinycell core and with the Vacuum infusion method. Cupboards, doors, tables, floorboards, bulkheads, walls are also Advanced Composite Constructions, i.e. sandwich GRP laminates with Divinycell core and covered by vacuum bagged thin Teak or Oak.
